How to Make Salt And Pepper Squid Recipe

Mince the garlic cloves. Slice shallots, chillies lengthwise. Clean and cuttlefish and score it from inside following a criss cross pattern. Cut the score cuttlefish in smaller chunks. Add water in a pot and boil cuttlefish until they curl.

Once they are curled take them out and place it into a bowl of cold water. Add oil in a pot and heat. Remove excess water from squid and then dip them into egg yolk followed by corn flour coating. Now place the coated squid in the pan and fry it in oil until golden brown.

In a separate pan add oil & heat it. Add garlic, shallots and saute it until fragrant. Then add chilli slices, scallions, sesame oil and saute until scallions begin to wilt. Now turn off the flame and put the pan down. Lastly add fried cuttlefish into the pan and mix well. Add salt, pepper mix and serve.
