Ingredients for Salmorejo Recipe

  • 1 pound ripe tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2-4 slices old wheat bread
  • 1/2 cup 3/4 extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Sherry cooking Wine

Directions: Salmorejo Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Skin the tomatoes and take away their cores.

  • STEP 2.Using a vitamix mixer, pulse the tomatoes and garlic and add the fortified wine.

step 3

  • STEP 3.Add the bread and let it soak for five min within the vitamix then mix till swish.

step 4

  • STEP 4.Continue adding bread and a touch oil and mixing till the cream encompasses a swish, creamy consistency.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Chill the salmorejo for one hour so serve in a very shallow bowl, fancy with ham and egg with croutons on prime.
