A luscious prepared from onion,garlic, red bell pepper, tomatoes cooked in a pan. Eggs are cracked over the tomato mixture and seasoned with salt and pepper. Garnish with salt and pepper and serve with bread.

Ingredients for Saksuka Recipe

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • As required chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • As required salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 6 Egg
  • As required fresh parsley/cilantro for garnish

Directions: Saksuka Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat oil over medium heat.
  • STEP 2.Add onions and garlic.
  • STEP 3.Cook till they flip a small amount soft.
  • STEP 4.Add red bell pepper and still cook for 5-7 minutes over medium heat till softened
  • STEP 5.Add fixings and diced tomatoes.
  • STEP 6.Add all the spices and sugar.
  • STEP 7.Season with salt and pepper and permit to simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes till it starts to scale back.
  • STEP 8.Crack the eggs over the tomato mixture, one within the middle and five round the edges of the pan.
  • STEP 9.Cover the pan till the eggs area unit parched.
  • STEP 10.Garnish with recent parsley and serve with crusty bread or flatbread.
