Ingredients for Sabudana upma Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Sabudana
  • 1/4 cup Diced potatoes
  • 1/2 tbsp chopped green chilli
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • as required Salt
  • 1 tbsp roasted groundnuts powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp Curry leaves

Directions: Sabudana Upma Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash & soak sabudana overnight.
  • STEP 2.Next day drain it completely.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan.
  • STEP 4.Fry cumin.
  • STEP 5.Add slit green chillies & curry leaves.
  • STEP 6.Fry chillies for a while crushing them from back of spoon.
  • STEP 7.Add potatoes ...salt.
  • STEP 8.Mix well.
  • STEP 9.Cook covered till its cooked.
  • STEP 10.If required sprinkle some water.
  • STEP 11.Once potatoes are cooked add sabudana.
  • STEP 12.Give a good mix.
  • STEP 13.Cover & cook on low flame for 2 min. or till it becomes translucent.
  • STEP 14.Add groundnuts powder ..stir for 2 min.
  • STEP 15.Turn off flame..add cilantro ..serve hot.
