Ingredients for Sago potato roll Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Sabudana
  • 1/2 Pieces medium sized boiled & mashed potatoes
  • 0.13 cup Peanuts crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp reen chillies
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/2 tablespoons Chopped coriander leaves
  • to taste Sendha namak

Directions: Sago Potato Roll Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak sabudana for two hours in water.Drain of all the water completely very well from the soaked sabudana. Add the sabudana in a mixing bowl.
  • STEP 2.Boil the potatoes. Peel and then mash them. Mix the mashed potatoes and sabudana together.
  • STEP 3.On a skillet or in a shallow pan, roast the groundnuts till they become crisp and crunchy.
  • STEP 4.Cool and then coarsely powder in a mortar-pestle or in a dry grinder.
  • STEP 5.Add the peanuts, rock salt, cumin seeds, sugar, ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves to the sabudana.
  • STEP 6.Making Sabudana Rolls Now take some portion of the mixture in your hands and shape them into rolls.
  • STEP 7.Now place the sabudana rolls in a non stick pan with oil. Keep the flame to medium while frying.
  • STEP 8.Do not crowd the pan.
  • STEP 9.Turn over a couple of times so as to fry the sabudana rolls evenly.
  • STEP 10.Remove the sabudana rolls with a slotted spoon. Place on kitchen paper towels .
  • STEP 11.Prepare sabudana rolls with the remaining mixture this way.
  • STEP 12.Serve sabudana roll.
