Ingredients for Saag Moong Dal Recipe

  • As required Saag
  • 200 gram Moong dal
  • 1 Onion
  • As required Turmeric Powder
  • As required Chilli Powder
  • As required Dry Red Chilli
  • As required Cumin Seeds
  • As required Mustard Seeds
  • As required Salt to Taste
  • As required Water

Directions: Saag Moong Dal Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Chop the saag and slice the onion

step 2

  • STEP 2.Dry roast the moong dal then boil it in a pressure cooker with salt,turmeric powder and red chili powder till 2 whistles

step 3

  • STEP 3.Heat the pan with vegetable oil and fry the onions

step 4

  • STEP 4.Add the saag and salt then mix well to fry

step 5

  • STEP 5.Add the cooked moong dal in it

step 6

  • STEP 6.Mix well and add water , sim for 5mins

step 7

  • STEP 7.On another pan heat 1tbsp oil , add 1 dry red chili,cumin seeds and mustard seeds to temp

step 8

  • STEP 8.Mix this with the saag

step 9

  • STEP 9.Serve as a side dish
