Ingredients for Rumali Roti Recipe

  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 1/2 tbsp Rice flour
  • as required Salt
  • as required water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Butter

Directions: Rumali Roti Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take all the ingredients in a bowl-except water
  • STEP 2.Mix well with hands
  • STEP 3.Now add water gradually
  • STEP 4.Knead to a soft dough
  • STEP 5.Keep it covered with a moist cloth for30-45 minutes
  • STEP 6.Pinch the dough and make balls
  • STEP 7.Roll it like a thin chapati dusting the flour on the surface
  • STEP 8.Now take an inverted wok on a medium flame, when it becomes hot, drizzle the salt water and spread the roti on the inverted wok
  • STEP 9.Allow the roti to cook, you will observe bubbles emerging and flip the sides and roast properly.
  • STEP 10.Roast the roti from both the sides until it becomes light brown from the edges.
  • STEP 11.Fold it like a handkerchief and keep on a kitchen towel
  • STEP 12.Serve hot with dal Makhani or chicken
