Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Clean and wash the rohu fish fillets thoroughly.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, ginger, and garlic paste. Saute until fragrant.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 5.Add the fish fillets and cook until they are fully cooked and tender.
  • STEP 6.Remove the fish fillets from the pan and let them cool.
  • STEP 7.Once cooled, mash the fish fillets using a fork or your hands.
  • STEP 8.In the same pan, heat oil and add chopped tomatoes. Cook until they turn soft.
  • STEP 9.Add the mashed fish and mix well. Cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 10.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
