Ingredients for Royyala Viduppu Recipe

  • 1/2 kilogram Cleaned prawns
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • As required Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1.50 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 3 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 mustard seeds
  • 4 sliced chilies
  • 2 cup Chopped Onion
  • As required Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • As required Chopped mint and coriander leaves

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a bowl marinate the prawns with 1 tsp salt,½ turmeric powder,½ lime juice and water. Wash twice and drain the water

step 2

  • STEP 1.Again marinate the prawns with salt,pinch of turmeric powder,1 tsp red chili powder,1 ½ ginger garlic paste and rest for ½ an hour

step 3

  • STEP 1.Heat pan with 3 tsp cooking oil. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds, let them pop

step 4

  • STEP 1.Add curry leaves and chopped onion and fry them until light brown . Add the marinated prawns and mix well

step 5

  • STEP 1.Add salt to taste and cook until the oil separated . Add garam masala and coriander powder , cook until the prawns get hard

step 6

  • STEP 1.Garnish with chopped mint and coriander powder . Serve rice or biryani
