A very easy to make and healthy fruit platter prepared with fruits,and fried dough fritters,fried beancurd tossed in shrimp paste,tamarind,sugars and peanuts.This is the freshest tasting salad – crunchy fruit and vegetables with fried tofu in a sweetly sticky, slightly sour dressing, sprinkled with roasted peanuts. It includes some unusual ingredients, but they can be found at Asian grocers. Yam bean (also called jicama) is a pale brown tuber with crisp white, slightly sweet flesh. Water spinach (called kang kong in Malay but common throughout Asia) is a crunchy, hollow-stemmed green with long pointed leaves.   • 150 gram Turnip
  • 150 gram cucumber
  • 80 gram Pineapple
  • 80 gram green mango
  • 100 gram jambu
  • 2 Nos you tiao
  • 4 piece tau pok
  • As required Sauce
  • 6 tablespoon fermented prawn paste
  • 4 tablespoon tamarind paste
  • 1/2 calamansi lime
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 cup toasted peanuts

How to Make Rojak Recipe

STEP 01

Mix all the ingredients of sauce except for peanuts

STEP 02

When sugar is melted keep 2 tbsp ground peanuts and add all and stir until evenly mixed.

STEP 03

Cut the turnip, pineapple, cucumber,mango,jambu,toasted you tiao and tau pok into pieces

STEP 04

Toss everything and add dough fritters and beancurd puffs at the end.

STEP 05

Serve and sprinkle with remaining ground peanuts
