Ingredients for Roasted Channa Desi Ghee Modak Recipe
0.13 cup Roasted chana –
1/4 cup Powdered sugar –
1/4 tbsp Fresh grated coconut –
1/2 tsp Poppy Seeds –
1/4 nos Green Cardamom –
As required Powdered
1/2 tbsp fresh cream –
0.06 nos Milk – cup/ as needed
As required For filling:-
0.06 cup Fresh grated coconut –
3/4 tbsp Cashew Nuts –
As required finely chopped
1/2 tsp Poppy seeds/khus khus –
1/4 nos Green Cardamom –
As required Powdered
1/4 tbsp Condensed milk – /as needed
Directions: Roasted Channa Desi Ghee Modak Recipe
STEP 1.Mix all the ingredients. Add condensed milk little by little to avoid mixture becoming runny. Keep aside
STEP 2.Grease the modak moulds lightly with melted ghee.
STEP 3.Take a small lemon sized ball of covering ms and stuff inside the mould.
STEP 4.Make a cavity in the middle and add a teaspoonful of stuffing in the cavity.
STEP 5.Take a little covering mixture and cover the stuffing.
STEP 6.Unmould the modak and garnish it with few poppy seeds & saffron strands and it is ready to be served
