Ingredients for Ripe Mango Curry Recipe

  • 1.33 Pieces Small juicy Ripe mango
  • 0.67 Pieces Green chilly
  • 0.13 tsp Turmeric
  • 0.17 tsp red chilly powder
  • A Stalk Curry leaves
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Coconut
  • 0.08 tsp jeera
  • 0.17 inch Pinch of turmeric
  • 0.17 inch Pinch red chilly
  • 1/2 Cups Curd
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.17 tsp Sugar
  • 0.33 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 0.17 tsp Mustard
  • 0.13 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • 0.67 Pieces Red chilly
  • A Stalk Curry leaves - few
  • 1/25 tsp Fenugreek powder

Directions: Ripe Mango Curry Recipe

  • STEP 1.Clean and peel of the skin of mango.
  • STEP 2.Keep aside. Pour 1 glass water to the skin and press with hand to get the juice. Put this in the ripe mango
  • STEP 3.Add turmeric,red chilly powder,green chilly slit and salt to taste .
  • STEP 4.Cook for 5-8 mts.
  • STEP 5.You can pressure cook for 1 whistle too .
  • STEP 6.Grind coconut with jeera to a very smooth paste.
  • STEP 7.Put this in the cooked mango and cook till raw smell goes. Switch off flame. Add sugar.
  • STEP 8.Add the beaten curd and mix nicely.
  • STEP 9.Switch on the flame and cook till when the bubbles come on side. Be careful not to boil the kaalan after adding the curd.
  • STEP 10.Heat oil. Put mustard, red chilly, Fenugreek and curry leaves. Switch off flame now put 1/4 tsp of kashmiri red chilly to oil. Mix and pour immediately to the kaalan.
  • STEP 11.Enjoy with steamed rice,curd chilly .
