STEP 1.Peel the skin of ridge gourd and cut into small pieces.
STEP 2.In thick bottomed pan heat a tsp of oil.
STEP 3.Add onion pieces and ginger garlic paste. Saute till the colour of onion pieces change.
STEP 4.Mix the ridge gourd pieces and cook till soft ( no need to add water ).
STEP 5.Mix dhaniya powder, chilli powder and salt.
STEP 6.Finally add cooked chana dal.
