When we cook, there will be something which is left over. I am strictly against wasting food. I always try my best to use left over food as it is or by giving makeover to it. Here are yummy & healthy Rikki's, which are made from leftover rice.

Ingredients for Rice Tikki (leftover) Recipe

  • 1/2 Cup steamed rice
  • 1.50 Tbsp coarse wheat flour
  • 0.13 Cup finely chopped coriander
  • 1.50 Pieces finely chopped green chillies
  • 0.13 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 Tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 Tsp oil
  • To Taste Salt
  • As Required Oil for shallow frying
  • As Required Chat masala for sprinkle

Directions: Rice Tikki (leftover) Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. Mix all ingredients & prepared dough.
  • STEP 2.2. Now make tikkis out of it & shallow fry it from both side, till it become crispy.
  • STEP 3.3. Sprinkle chat masala & serve hot with chutney, ketchup or tea- coffee.
  • STEP 4.Note:
  • STEP 5.1. Can add chopped onions too.
