Kheer is a traditional, rich and creamy Indian classic dessert recipe made with rice and milk. It is generally made for festival celebration or for any occasion feast.
Ingredients for Rice kheer or rice pudding 💖 Recipe
1/2 litre ) full fat milk.
0.42 cup ) small grain rice.
0.67 tbsp ) ghee.
0.83 cup ) sugar according to tast.
0.92 cup ) condensed milk.
1.08 cup ) chopped nuts.
1.29 tsp ) cardamom powder.

STEP 1.1) In a mixture jar, add rice and slightly grind it on pulses.
STEP 2.2) Wash rice with water and keep it aside.
STEP 3.3) Now in a pressure cooker, add ghee. Then add chopped nuts. Saute for a minute. Take it out into a plate and keep it aside.
STEP 4.4) Now, add rice and saute for a minute. Then add 1 cup of milk. Cover and pressure cook rice on a medium flame for 2 whistle.
STEP 5.5) When the cooker is completely cool down, check the rice and mash it slightly.
STEP 6.6) Now, add another cup of milk and mix well.
STEP 7.7) Simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes or until milk thickns.
STEP 8.8) Then add sugar and condensed milk and mix well.
STEP 9.9) Also add roasted dry fruits and mix well.
STEP 10.10) Boil for 5 mins or until the kheer turns creamy.
STEP 11.11) Then add cardamom powder and mix well.
STEP 12.12) Now it's ready to yummy rice kheer.
STEP 13.13) Enjoy rice kheer hot or chilled for a week when refrigerated.
