Ingredients for Rice kheer or rice pudding 💖 Recipe

  • 1/2 litre ) full fat milk.
  • 0.42 cup ) small grain rice.
  • 0.67 tbsp ) ghee.
  • 0.83 cup ) sugar according to tast.
  • 0.92 cup ) condensed milk.
  • 1.08 cup ) chopped nuts.
  • 1.29 tsp ) cardamom powder.

Directions: Rice Kheer Or Rice Pudding 💖 Recipe

  • STEP 1.1) In a mixture jar, add rice and slightly grind it on pulses.
  • STEP 2.2) Wash rice with water and keep it aside.
  • STEP 3.3) Now in a pressure cooker, add ghee. Then add chopped nuts. Saute for a minute. Take it out into a plate and keep it aside.
  • STEP 4.4) Now, add rice and saute for a minute. Then add 1 cup of milk. Cover and pressure cook rice on a medium flame for 2 whistle.
  • STEP 5.5) When the cooker is completely cool down, check the rice and mash it slightly.
  • STEP 6.6) Now, add another cup of milk and mix well.
  • STEP 7.7) Simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes or until milk thickns.
  • STEP 8.8) Then add sugar and condensed milk and mix well.
  • STEP 9.9) Also add roasted dry fruits and mix well.
  • STEP 10.10) Boil for 5 mins or until the kheer turns creamy.
  • STEP 11.11) Then add cardamom powder and mix well.
  • STEP 12.12) Now it's ready to yummy rice kheer.
  • STEP 13.13) Enjoy rice kheer hot or chilled for a week when refrigerated.
