Ingredients for Rice kheer Recipe

  • 0.13 Cups bowl basmati rice
  • 1.25 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1/2 Cups bowls water
  • 1/4 litre Milk
  • 1.50 g 6-7 g
  • as required Nuts of your choice

Directions: Rice Kheer Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak rice in 2 bowls of water overnight.
  • STEP 2.In the same water, pressure-cook rice for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Add 1/2 katori milk to this cooked rice and mash well.
  • STEP 4.In one Katori, add lukewarm milk and add strands of saffron. Let it rest for 5-7 minutes.
  • STEP 5.In a deep bottom pan, add milk and mashed rice. Let it boil. Add saffron milk and green cardamom powder.
  • STEP 6.Add sugar and continue to stir on low flame. Cook till you get desired consistency. During Chaat Pooja, Rasiyaw or Rice Kheer is served with Puri. So the consistency is as per.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with your favourite nuts and serve hot.
