  • 1/4 cup Cooked Rice
  • 1/4 cup Jaggery
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 0.13 cup Grated Coconut
  • 0.13 teaspoon Cardamom Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes, then drain the water.
  • STEP 2.Grind the rice into a coarse paste.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat water and jaggery until the jaggery melts.
  • STEP 4.Add the rice paste and cook on low heat, stirring continuously.
  • STEP 5.Add grated coconut and cardamom powder, and mix well.
  • STEP 6.Cook until the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot or cold.

Cooking Tips

  • Use short-grain rice for a better texture.
  • Adjust the amount of jaggery according to your taste preference.
  • You can add a few drops of ghee for extra richness.
  • Stir continuously while cooking to avoid lumps.
