  • STEP 1.In a pan, heat ghee and roast rice flour until fragrant and golden brown.
  • STEP 2.In another pan, heat water and sugar until the sugar dissolves completely.
  • STEP 3.Slowly add the roasted rice flour to the sugar syrup, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  • STEP 4.Cook the mixture on low heat until it thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  • STEP 5.Add cardamom powder and mix well.
  • STEP 6.Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to roast the rice flour on low heat to prevent it from burning.
  • You can add chopped nuts like almonds, cashews, or pistachios for added texture and flavor.
  • For a richer taste, you can replace some of the ghee with khoya (milk solids).
