  • 0.17 cup Jaggery
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 0.17 cup Coconut Milk
  • 0.08 teaspoon Cardamom Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the red rice in water for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Pressure cook the soaked rice with water until it becomes soft.
  • STEP 3.In a separate pan, melt jaggery with water and strain to remove impurities.
  • STEP 4.Add the cooked red rice to the jaggery syrup and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Add coconut milk and cardamom powder to the kheer and cook for a few more minutes.
  • STEP 6.Serve the red rice kheer hot or chilled, garnished with chopped nuts.

  • Make sure to soak the red rice before cooking to ensure it becomes soft.
