  • As required Ingredients for chutney
  • 1 piece Raw green mango raw cut into cup
  • 1 cup Coconut grated
  • 2 No.s Green chillies
  • 1/2 cup Water for grinding
  • As required Salt
  • As required Ingredients for Tempering
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard
  • 2 pinch Asafoetida
  • 2 No.s Dry red chillies
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves

Directions: Raw Mango Chutney Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a grinder jar add 1 cup raw mango cut into pieces, 1 cup grated coconut, 2 slit green chillies, salt ot atse and ½ cup water for grinding or as required.
  • STEP 2.Grind to make a smooth chutney mixture.
  • STEP 3.For the tadka, in a preheated pan add1 tsp oil, ½ tsp mustard, 2 pinches hing, 2 dry red chillies, 1 sprig curry leaves and saute till the mustard seeds crackle.
  • STEP 4.Spoon green mango chutney into a serving bowl and spoon the tadka over it.
  • STEP 5.Serve along with idli dosa.
