Ingredients for Raw jackfruit curry Recipe

  • 125 grams Raw jackfruit
  • 1/2 Pieces Potato
  • 1/2 Pieces Onion
  • 1.75 g Garlic cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp jeera
  • 1/2 Pieces Bay leaf
  • 1/2 Pieces Whole red chillies
  • a pinch Hing
  • 1.25 tbsp Oil
  • 1 cups water
  • A Bunch Chopped coriander leaves

Directions: Raw Jackfruit Curry Recipe

  • STEP 1.Clean and chop jackfruit into chunks. Chop potato into chunks too
  • STEP 2.Heat 2 tbsp oil. Fry the jackfruit and potato chunks till golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add in remaining oil add bay leaf anf red chillies. Add jeera and Crackle. Add in onions chopped garlic cloves and ginger paste.
  • STEP 4.Add in turmeric powder hing salt and red chilli powder. Add some water and let oil ooze out.
  • STEP 5.Add the fried jackfruit and potato . Mix well. Add water and cook till desired consistency is reached.
  • STEP 6.Switch off gas when the jackfruit is tender enough and adjust seasoning. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Enjoy with parathas rotis or rice.
