Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Boil the raw bananas until they are soft and tender. Peel and mash them in a bowl.
  • STEP 2.Add gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, and chopped coriander leaves to the mashed bananas. Mix well to form a dough-like consistency.
  • STEP 3.Take small portions of the dough and shape them into small balls or koftas.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a deep pan and deep-fry the koftas until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 5.In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add finely chopped onions and saut茅 until golden brown.
  • STEP 6.Add ginger-garlic paste and saut茅 for a minute. Then, add tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook the gravy until the oil separates.
  • STEP 7.Add water to adjust the consistency of the gravy and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 8.Add the fried koftas to the gravy and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 9.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or Indian breads.
