Ingredients for Raw Banana Curry Recipe

  • 5-6 raw banana
  • As required Salt
  • As required Cooking Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin paste
  • 1 tablespoon Green chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Roasted Cumin Powder
  • 2-3 bay leaves

Directions: Raw Banana Curry Recipe

  • STEP 1.Peel the banana and dice them into pieces. Wash them thoroughly.

  • STEP 2.Chop the onions.
  • STEP 3.In a kadai add 1 cup of water and the diced raw banana.Add the cumin paste, garlic paste, ginger paste and green chili paste (all 2tbsp) and mix them well.
  • STEP 4.Now add the turmeric powder 1 tsp and salt to taste. Stir them and cover it. Cook it for 10 mins or till the time the raw banana gets cooked.
  • STEP 5.Now with the help of the ladle try smashing the cooked raw banana. The consistency should be thick and it should be a semi-paste.
