Ingredients for RAVA MURUKKU Recipe

  • 0.03 cup Fine rava /semolina -
  • 1/20 cup Rice flour -
  • 1/10 cup Hot water -
  • 0.03 tsp Sesame seeds -
  • 0.03 tsp Poppy seeds -
  • 1/10 tbsp Butter -
  • As required Cumin seeds - a pinch
  • As required Salt - to taste
  • As required Oil - for frying

Directions: Rava Murukku Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat water in a pan.
  • STEP 2.When water comes to boil add the rava /semolina in a low flame.
  • STEP 3.Mix well.
  • STEP 4.Add rice flour,butter,sesame seeds,poppy seeds,salt,cumin seeds and add little hot water and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Make smooth dough.
  • STEP 6.Use the murukku make machine and fixed the plate.
  • STEP 7.Fill the machine with prepared dough.
  • STEP 8.Squeeze into square shape and repeat the process to finish the dough.
  • STEP 9.Deep fry the murukku for 2 - 3 mins and then turn over for another side.
  • STEP 10.Drain in paper napkin.
  • STEP 11.Served with hot tea.
