  • 0.33 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 0.17 cup Sugar
  • 0.67 cup Water

  • STEP 1.In a large pot, bring milk to a boil and add lemon juice to curdle it.
  • STEP 2.Strain the curdled milk through a muslin cloth to separate the chenna.
  • STEP 3.Wash the chenna under cold water to remove any lemony flavor.
  • STEP 4.Knead the chenna until it becomes smooth and free of lumps.
  • STEP 5.Shape the chenna into small balls and set aside.
  • STEP 6.In a separate pot, prepare a sugar syrup by dissolving sugar in water and bring it to a boil.
  • STEP 7.Gently drop the chenna balls into the boiling sugar syrup.
  • STEP 8.Cover the pot and let the rasgullas cook on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 9.Remove the rasgullas from the syrup and let them cool.
  • STEP 10.Chill the rasgullas in the refrigerator before serving.
