A odia style dessert called Rasabali made with cottage cheese This famous and beautiful melt in mouth sweet dish is from Odisha, the state which is known for its exemplary and unique sweet dishes. This classic and traditional sweet dish called Rasabali is one of the chappan bhog (56 dish divine meal) of Puri Jagannath temple. And to preserve its authenticity and heritage value, Kendrapada, the origin town of Rasabali has acquired a GI tag also.

- 3 Milk ltr
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Maida
- 1/2 teaspoon Suji
- 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
- 5 tablespoon Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Chopped pista
- As required Cooking oil for frying

How to Make Rasabali Recipe
STEP 01
Add 2ltr milk in a vessel
STEP 02
Add vinegar to make cottage cheese
STEP 03
Drain the water . Take out the cottage cheese in a plate
STEP 04
Add sugar, maida, suji and cardamom powder
STEP 05
Knead well into a fine paste
STEP 06
Make into small round flat rasabali and brush oil on it
STEP 07
Heat oil for frying in a pan or vessel
STEP 08
Deep fry the rasabalis and set aside
STEP 09
Heat milk to make it thick and add sugar in it
STEP 10
Add the rasabalis in the milk
STEP 11
Garnish with chopped pista
STEP 12
Serve as a dessert
