Ingredients for Rajma Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Boiled rajma (kidney beans) –
  • 1/2 nos - medium onions
  • 1/2 nos - cloves garlic
  • 1/4 nos - medium ginger
  • 1/4 tsp - ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp - ground coriander
  • 0.13 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 0.13 tsp - red chili powder
  • 0.13 tsp - garam masala powder
  • As required - salt
  • As required to taste
  • 1/2 tbsp - vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cups - Water
  • As required - Fresh cilantro

Directions: Rajma Recipe

  • STEP 1.Blend the onions, garlic, and ginger*: Blend the onions, garlic, and ginger into a smooth paste using a blender.
  • STEP 2.2. *Heat oil and sauté the blended paste*: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the blended paste and sauté until fragrant.
  • STEP 3.3. *Add spices and cook*: Add cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili powder, and garam masala. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • STEP 4.4. *Add cooked kidney beans/ rajma and water*: Add the cooked rajma and 2 cups of water. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • STEP 5.5. *Season and garnish*: Season the rajma with salt to taste. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
