  • 62.50 gram Gum Berries
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 0.06 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 1/4 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • as per your need Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash the gum berries thoroughly and remove any dirt or impurities.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add asafoetida and chopped onions.
  • STEP 3.Saute the onions until they turn golden brown. Then, add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add the gum berries to the pan and mix well. Cook for a few minutes until the berries become soft.
  • STEP 5.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Finally, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.

  • Make sure to wash the gum berries thoroughly to remove any dirt or impurities.
  • You can adjust the spice level according to your preference by adding more or less red chili powder.
