Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.To make the dumplings, mix besan, spices, and water to form a thick batter. Shape the batter into small balls and steam them until cooked.
  • STEP 2.In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, and chopped onions. Saute until the onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add tomato puree, yogurt, and spices to the pan. Cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
  • STEP 4.Add water to adjust the consistency of the gravy and bring it to a boil. Then, add the steamed dumplings and simmer for a few minutes.
