Ingredients for Rajasthani gatta sabji Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Gram flour
  • 0.13 tsp Red chili powder
  • 0.06 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.06 tsp Carom seeds
  • 0.06 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 3/4 tsp Ghee
  • 0.13 tsp Oil
  • as required water
  • 1/4 cup Curd
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.13 tsp Turmeric powder

Directions: Rajasthani Gatta Sabji Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take gram flour in a bowl . Then add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, carom seeds and cumin seeds to it.
  • STEP 2.Add salt to taste and mix the flour.
  • STEP 3.Add ghee and knead it by gradually pouring warm water to it to get a soft dough.
  • STEP 4.If it turns sticky, add a little more besan flour and keep kneading till you get a soft dough.
  • STEP 5.Taking small portions of it, then make medium thin rolls and transfer it into the boiling water.
  • STEP 6.Cover the lid and let it cook for 10 minutes tohen cool down it। cut it into equal pieces.
  • STEP 7.Take curd in a bowl and add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt to it.
  • STEP 8.Take Ghee in a pan and add green chili, ginger and garlic paste. Sauté it.
  • STEP 9.Now add cumin seeds, asafetida, and onions to it. Sauté well and cook till onions is cooked.
  • STEP 10.Add curd mixture to it and whisk continuously .
  • STEP 11.Add Gatta with it's water, sprinkle salt if required and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes covering the lid till you get a little thick gravy.
  • STEP 12.Tranfer it ti bowl and sprinkle some kasuri methi over it
  • STEP 13.Take curd in a bowl and add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt to it.
  • STEP 14.Mix it well to make the batter uniform.
  • STEP 15.Take Ghee in a pan and add green chili, ginger and garlic paste. Sauté it without burning them.
  • STEP 16.Next add cumin seeds, asafetida, and onions to it. Sauté well and cook till onions is cooked.
  • STEP 17.Add curd mixture to it and whisk continuously till it loses oil ।
  • STEP 18.Add Gatta with water, and add salt if required and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes covering the lid till you get a little thick gravy.
  • STEP 19.Tranfer it ti bowl and sprinkle some kasuri methi over it. YourRajasthani gatta sabji is ready serve with roti and rice
