  • 1/4 cup Ragi Flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Urad Dal
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chana Dal

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and chana dal. Saute until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions, green chilies, and curry leaves. Saute until the onions turn translucent.
  • STEP 3.Add ragi flour and roast it for a few minutes until it turns aromatic.
  • STEP 4.Add water, salt, and mix well. Cook on low heat until the upma thickens.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
