Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix ragi flour, fermented rice batter, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Add water to make a thick batter.
  • STEP 3.Grease the idli molds with oil.
  • STEP 4.Pour the batter into the molds and steam for 10-12 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Remove from the steamer and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Gently remove the idlis from the molds using a spoon.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
