Its the season you get good juicy flavourful radishes. Radish paratha is very tasty. This can be eaten as breakfast ...for lunch n dinner too. You only need a cup of curd & pickle as accompaniment.

Ingredients for Radish paratha Recipe

  • 1 cups Grated radish
  • 1/2 tbsp Chopped Green chillies
  • 0.13 tsp Carom seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • as required Salt
  • as required Whole wheat flour

Directions: Radish Paratha Recipe

  • STEP 1.Peel & grate radishes.
  • STEP 2.Add little salt..mix well..keep covered for 30 min.
  • STEP 3.After 30 min. squeeze out the water from radish gratings.
  • STEP 4.To the collected radish water add wholewheat as required & knead a soft pliable dough..keep covered.
  • STEP 5.To the gratings add carom seeds, garam masala powder, chopped green chillies crushed with salt, & coriander leaves ..give a good mix.
  • STEP 6.Now take a small portion of dough.
  • STEP 7.Shape it into a cup with greased hands.
  • STEP 8.Fill in the radish stuffing...seal properly from all sides.
  • STEP 9.Dust the stuffed ball..roll gently into a disc.
  • STEP 10.Immediately transfer onto a hot tawa.
  • STEP 11.Cook both sides adding ghee till dark red sots appear.
  • STEP 12.Serve hot with pickle & butter.
