About Rabodi Ki Sabzi Recipe:

A very easy quick delicious dish prepared from rabodi.Rabodi or Rabori is a homemade traditional marwari sabji from the Rajasthani cuisine. The base ingredients used to prepare this are primarily Buttermilk and Jawar/corn (makai) and made in the form of thin sheets like a papad. This is then dried, thus giving it a name Dry Rabodi which can be kept for several months and cooked as needed. Rabodi ki Sabzi is simply soaking this dried rabodi's in boiling water until tender and then cooked in buttermilk, topped with some spices.

  • 150 gram Rabodi
  • 2-3 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 No.s Green chillies
  • As required Some coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • As required Salt
  • 8-10 No.s Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds

How to Make Rabodi Ki Sabzi Recipe

STEP 01

Cut green chillies and garlic cloves

STEP 02

Slice onions

STEP 03

Soak rabodi in water for 5 mins

STEP 04

1.add oil in a pan & heat it.

STEP 05

2.add cumin seeds and let it crackle

STEP 06

3.now add sliced onions and garlic and cook for a min.

STEP 07

4.then add green chillies, turmeric powder,red chilli powder & coriander powder.

STEP 08

5.mix well and cook at medium flame.

STEP 09

6.add some water and cook for a min.

STEP 10

7.now add rabodi and salt as per taste.

STEP 11

8.now add water,cover and cook for 2-3 mins.

STEP 12

9.sprinkle some fresh coriander leaves.
