 A very easy quick delicious dish prepared from rabodi.Rabodi or Rabori is a homemade traditional marwari sabji from the Rajasthani cuisine. Rabodi ki Sabzi is simply soaking this dried rabodi's in boiling water until tender and then cooked in buttermilk, topped with some spices.

Ingredients for Rabodi Ki Sabzi Recipe

  • 150 gram Rabodi
  • 2-3 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 No.s Green chillies
  • As required Some coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • As required Salt
  • 8-10 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 No.s Onion

  • STEP 1.Cut green chillies and garlic cloves

  • STEP 2.Slice onions

step 3

  • STEP 3.Soak rabodi in water for 5 mins

step 6

  • STEP 4.1.add oil in a pan & heat it.

step 7

  • STEP 5.2.add cumin seeds and let it crackle

step 8

  • STEP 6.3.now add sliced onions and garlic and cook for a min.

  • STEP 7.4.then add green chillies, turmeric powder,red chilli powder & coriander powder.

step 10

  • STEP 8.5.mix well and cook at medium flame.

step 11

  • STEP 9.6.add some water and cook for a min.

step 12

  • STEP 10.7.now add rabodi and salt as per taste.

step 13

  • STEP 11.8.now add water,cover and cook for 2-3 mins.

step 14

  • STEP 12.9.sprinkle some fresh coriander leaves.
