  • 3/4 tablespoon Butter
  • 3/4 tablespoon All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Grated Cheese

Directions: Mexican Quorn Lasagne Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • STEP 2.In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.
  • STEP 3.Add Quorn mince to the skillet and cook until heated through. Stir in taco seasoning, black beans, and salsa.
  • STEP 4.In a separate saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour to make a roux. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth and thickened.
  • STEP 5.Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in grated cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  • STEP 6.To assemble the lasagne, spread a layer of the Quorn mixture in the bottom of the baking dish. Top with a layer of corn tortillas, then a layer of the cheese sauce. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of cheese sauce.
  • STEP 7.Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • STEP 8.Allow the lasagne to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped cilantro, if desired.
