Ingredients for Quinoa Pulao Recipe

  • 1 cup Quinoa
  • 2 cup Water
  • As required Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 No.s finely chopped onion
  • 1 No.s finely chopped carrot
  • 1 No.s finely chopped zucchini
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • As required Turmeric
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped bell pepper
  • 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • As required Half lemon
  • 2 tablespoon coriander leaves

Directions: Quinoa Pulao Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a bowl take some quinoa and wash it with tap water.
  • STEP 2.Add quinoa to the pan with water and 1 tsp salt.
  • STEP 3.Mix it well, cover it half with a lid and cook until the water gets absorbed.
  • STEP 4.Cover the pan fully and let it rest for around 10 minutes.
  • STEP 5.In a separate pan take some oil, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, sesame seeds, onion, carrot, zucchini, ginger, salt, turmeric and mix them well.
  • STEP 6.Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes at medium flame.
  • STEP 7.Add chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala to the pan.
  • STEP 8.Saute for 2 minutes and add cooked quinoa, lemon juice, and coriander leaves.
  • STEP 9.Mix well and your fluffy quinoa pulao is ready to be served.
