  • 1/4 Onion, Chopped
  • 1/4 Tomato, Chopped
  • 1/4 Carrot, Chopped
  • 1/4 Potato, Chopped

  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • as needed A Few Curry Leaves
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sambar Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil

  • STEP 1.Pressure cook the lentils and vegetables until soft.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions, tomatoes, and spices. Cook until the onions are translucent.
  • STEP 4.Add the cooked lentils and vegetables to the pan. Mix well and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or idli.
