An easy and delicious omelet with chinese leeks.Leeks is one of my favorite vegetables to cook with. In the same genus with onion and garlic (also my two favorite ingredients to cook with). My mom likes to use leeks in stir-fry noodles, stew, and to make egg omelette. It flavors the dish pretty nicely. This leeks omelette is pretty easy to make and it is quite a common home-cooked dish at our little hometown in Indonesia

Ingredients for Quick Leek Omlet Recipe

  • 2 Leeks Nos
  • 4 Eggs Nos
  • 1/2 teaspoon White pepper powder
  • As required Salt

Directions: Quick Leek Omlet Recipe

  • STEP 1.Thinly slice 2 stalks of chinese leeks. in a mixing bowl crack 4 eggs, ½ tsp white pepper powder and salt to taste.
  • STEP 2.Add the thinly sliced leeks. Whisk together well till eggs are light and fluffy. Heat a frying pan and add 2 tsp olive oil.
  • STEP 3.Gently pour in the egg mixture and cook on medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes on each side till golden brown .
  • STEP 4.Serve hot .
