  • STEP 1.Grind rice into a fine powder and make thin sheets by spreading the rice powder on a cloth and steaming it.
  • STEP 2.Melt jaggery in a pan and add grated coconut and cardamom powder. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  • STEP 3.Place a rice sheet on a flat surface and spread the jaggery mixture on it. Roll it tightly into a cylindrical shape.
  • STEP 4.Repeat the process with the remaining rice sheets and jaggery mixture.
  • STEP 5.Allow the putharekulu to cool and set for a few hours before serving.
