Puppy Chow Snack Mix Recipe

Recipe By Southern Living

First things first: this is a delicious snack food for people, not for feeding our puppies, dogs, or other pets that shouldnt eat chocolate. It gets its playful name for its resemblance to dry dog food kibble. This quick no-bake mix will also answer to other names such as muddy buddies, muddy munch, monkey munch, or reindeer chow. Think of it as sweet chocolate and peanut butter chex mix. You need only pantry basics to make a big batch of this snack, so you might have already have everything on hand. The recipe makes a lot, but it keeps well for a few days. Its a fun afterschool, lunch box, or desk drawer snack. Just scoop portions into small reusable airtight containers and a weeks worth of grab-and-go treats are at the ready. Its also great low-key party fare.
