Ingredients for PUNJABI CHICKEN MASALA Recipe

  • 250 Gms Chicken pieces
  • 1.50 Pieces Chopped onion
  • 1/2 Pieces Chopped tomato
  • 1/2 Tbsp Ginger paste
  • 1/2 Tbsp Garlic paste
  • 1/2 Tsp Kashmiri mirch powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 Tbsp Curd
  • 1.50 Pieces reen chilly
  • 1 Tbsp Coriander leaves
  • 1.50 Pieces Whole black pepper
  • 1.50 Pieces Cloves
  • 1/2 Pieces Black cardamom
  • 1 Pieces reen cardamom
  • 1/2 Inch Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Pieces Mace
  • 1 Pieces Bay leaf
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Mustard oil

Directions: Punjabi Chicken Masala Recipe

  • STEP 1.Marinate chicken with curd,1/2 tbsp ginger,1/2 tbsp garlic,kashmiri mirch powder,red chilly powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder and salt.
  • STEP 2.Keep aside for 4 - 5 hours
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan add whole garam masala to crackle now add chopped onion and saute until transparent
  • STEP 4.Add remaining ginger garlic paste and tomato paste and mix well,cook well till raw flavors go.
  • STEP 5.Now add marinated chicken and cook on high for 5 mins.
  • STEP 6.Cover it and cook in a slow flame until oil leaves the pan.
  • STEP 7.Add one cup of water and salt and cook for five mins.
  • STEP 8.Add kashuri methi and mix it well
  • STEP 9.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with naan
