Pumpkin orange fudge Recipe

This is slight different recipe than the traditional fudge which is mainly prepared using sugar, butter and milk. Heating it to the soft-ball stage at 240 °f(116 °c), and then beating the mixture while it cools so that it acquires a smooth, creamy consistency. It can be flavored using fruits, chocolate, dry fruits etc. In this recipe, i have used grated white pumpkin, full fat milk, orange candied peels and sugar. It’s a sweet dessert, easy to prepare and tastes amazing.

  • 0.06 cup Candied Orange Peels
  • 0.06 cup sugar – – 3/4th
  • 0.06 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 0.06 cup Dry fruits crushed – Almonds, cashew nuts and Raisins
  • 0.13 cup Full Fat Milk
  • 0.09 cup khoya/mawa – th
  • 0.03 teaspoon Edible orange Food Colour – th
  • 1/4 tablespoon ghee – + 0.5 tsp for greasing
  • As required Garnishing – Cashew nut coarse powder, Raisins, Mint leaves, Peeled and Slivered almonds
