STEP 2.In a pan add 10 dry red chilies and coriander seeds, dry roast them and take them in a mixer grinder to prepare a powder. Also known as podi in Andhra Pradesh.
STEP 3.In a pot add 5tsp of oil and add 2 tsp mustard seeds and let them splatter.
STEP 4.After that add 10gm of peanuts, 2tsp of chana dal, 2 tsp of urad dal, 1 tsp of fenugreek seeds, 1tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of hing, 6 dry red chilies, curry leaves and 6 green chilies , mix everything for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 5.Now add tamarind juice, some salt and 10gm of jaggery, let the jaggery melt.
STEP 6.After the jaggery is completely melted and is dissolved in the tempering, add the prepared podi and combine everything well. Let it cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
STEP 7.Now in a mixing bowl take the cooked rice and add the prepared tempering in it.
STEP 8.Mix until rice is completely covered in the tempering.
STEP 9.Now serve in a bowl and enjoy tangy and tasty pulihora.
