Ingredients for Puffed rice upma Recipe

  • 2.33 cups Murmura/puffed rice
  • 0.67 Pieces Onion chopped
  • As Required Curry leaves
  • 0.67 tsp Lemon juice
  • As Required As per taste Salt
  • 0.33 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 0.33 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.67 Pieces Tomato
  • 0.67 Pieces reenchilli
  • 0.67 Tsp Red chilli powder

Directions: Puffed Rice Upma Recipe

  • STEP 1.First soak in lots of water puffed rice then squeeze and keep aside. Heat up a kadai Or deep sauce pan, add oil heat up, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds wait till it splutters, now add onions, green chillies and curry leaves.. saute it
  • STEP 2....add turmeric powder
  • STEP 3.Now add murmura/puffed rice, add salt according to taste make sure you add less salt because puffed rice already salt in it....
  • STEP 4.mix everything well..lastly add lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves & serve hot......
