Ingredients for Provençal Stuffed Squid Recipe

  • 3 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 10-15 Chopped Garlic Cloves
  • 3 Chopped Green Chilies
  • 1 Big Diced Onion
  • 1 cup Chopped Carrot
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Bell Pepper
  • 1 cup Spring Onions
  • 1 cup Chopped Mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Ground Meat
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • As required Cooking Oil

Directions: Provençal Stuffed Squid Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, marinate the squid with soy sauce, turmeric and lime for 30 minutes.

  • STEP 2.Keep aside.

  • STEP 3.Add oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat

  • STEP 4.Sauté chopped garlic and green chilies

step 5

  • STEP 5.Add in chopped onions and sauté for few seconds

  • STEP 6.Add chopped mushrooms and cook for 1 minute

  • STEP 7.Add in grated carrots, diced red bell pepper and spring onions

step 8

  • STEP 8.Add in ground meat (any meat) and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

  • STEP 9.Add 1 teaspoon chili powder and 1 teaspoon salt and to all purpose flour

  • STEP 10.Stuff each marinated squid tubes with the mixture.

  • STEP 11.Seal the squid opening with a toothpick and keep aside

  • STEP 12.Dip the stuffed squid in egg wash

step 13

  • STEP 13.And then again roll them in spiced flour

step 14

  • STEP 14.Deep fry each squid tubes for 3 minutes

step 15

  • STEP 15.Do not overcook, as squid will become tough

step 16

  • STEP 16.Serve delicious stuffed squid hot with sauce!
