  • 1/2 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1/2 cup Water

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Clean and marinate the pomfret fish with turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated fish until golden brown. Set aside.
  • STEP 3.In the same pan, add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves, and chopped onions. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and tamarind pulp. Cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add coconut milk and water to the pan. Bring it to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Add the fried fish to the gravy and cook for another 5 minutes.
