  • 0.13 cup Rajma, Soaked
  • 1/4 cup Rice, Soaked
  • 1/4 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 Tomato, Finely Chopped
  • 0.63 En Chilies, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon Coriander Leaves, Chopped

  • STEP 1.Soak soybeans, rajma, and rice overnight. Drain and grind them into a smooth batter.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies, coriander leaves, and salt to the batter.
  • STEP 3.Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladleful of batter. Spread it in a circular motion to form a thick pancake.
  • STEP 4.Drizzle oil around the edges and cook on medium heat until the bottom turns golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Flip the uttapam and cook the other side until it is cooked through.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
  • STEP 7.For variation, you can also add grated carrots, capsicum, or cheese to the batter before cooking.
