  • 0.13 Cup Bengal gram or chana dal
  • 0.06 Cup Almonds
  • 0.06 Cup Cashews
  • 0.06 Cup Pistachios
  • 0.06 Cup Desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 Tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 3/4 As Required 3-4 pods green Cardamoms
  • 0.06 Cup Jaggery powder
  • As Required ghee for brushing
  • 0.13 Cup Oats flour
  • 0.13 Cup Sorghum flour or Jowar flour
  • 1/4 Cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 Tbsp Ghee
  • As Required water
  • As Required Pinch of salt
  • As Required Liquid Date palm Jaggery for dipping

Directions: Protein Pack Multi Grain Dry Fruits Paratha #bsk #slurrpb7k1 Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash & soak Chana dal or Bengal gram for 1 hr.
  • STEP 2.Strain water & let it dry for 15 - 20 min.
  • STEP 3.After that dry roast Chana dal along with green Cardamoms in a pan for 10 h 15 min. or until change it's colour. Cool completely and grind coarsely roasted Chana dal powder is ready.
  • STEP 4.Dry roast Almonds, Cashews, Pistachios &  take out. Dry roast sesame seeds & take out, Dry roast desiccated Coconut & take out. Let all roasted dry fruits cool completely. After that grind all roasted nuts & make a coarse powder, take out into a bowl. Grind again roasted sesame seeds along with roasted Desiccated Coconut & make a coarse powder & take out in a same bowl. Now add prepared Chana dal powder & jaggery powder, mix together properly. Filling is ready. It also can be stored in a air tight container.
  • STEP 5.In a mixing bowl take all flours, add pinch of salt & Ghee mix it properly. Then add water gradually, knead and make a smooth and soft dough. Cover & rest the dough for atleast 15 min.
  • STEP 6.After that knead again. Divide some equal medium size portions. Make katori shape with fingers, place 1 tbsp of dry fruits filling into it & bring the edges of the dough together and join them at the center & slightly press.
  • STEP 7.Brush few drops of ghee on a kitchen platform or a silicone mat & gently roll  with a rolling pin & make parathas. Make sure parathas should not be too thin.
  • STEP 8.Heat a tawa on high heat, place a rolled paratha into it. Now flame should be medium, toast both sides of paratha then brush some melted Ghee all over the paratha, flip & do the same. Cook for 5 min. Toast all parathas followed by same method. Healthy protein pack multi grain Dry fruits parathas is ready. Enjoy hot parathas by dipping with liquid Date Palm jaggery.
