STEP 1.Soak dal and rice separately for 10 to 12 hours.
STEP 2.After 12 hours clean the dal and rice and make a fine paste.
STEP 3.Take the rice and dal batter in a heavy bowl and whisk it very well with ginger paste, green chillies, salt.
STEP 4.After taking the batter, it should be beaten well with baking soda at the end.
STEP 5.Heat the iron pan well on gas and sprinkle water over it and wipe it well then brush a little oil on it.
STEP 6.Then spread one spoonful of batter in a big spoon like dosa and lightly sprinkle oil on top and then fry in medium heat until golden brown.
STEP 7.When the lower side of the dosa is fried, fold it and top it with masala potato curry.
STEP 8.Then masala dosa should be served with potato curry and sauce
