Ingredients for Prawn And Sweet Corn Stir Fry Recipe

  • 250 gram Raw prawns
  • 150 gram Tinned sweetcorn
  • 2 No.s Spring onions
  • 3 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 5 gram Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cooking wine
  • 1 teaspoon Cornflour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground white pepper
  • As required Salt

Directions: Prawn And Sweet Corn Stir Fry Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 place 250 raw shelled and deveined prawns in a large mixing bowl. Add 1 tsp cooking wine, ½ tsp white pepper powder and mix well. Leave to marinate for 10 minutes.

  • STEP 2.2 in a small bowl combine 1 tsp cornflour with 40 ml water to make a smooth paste. Keep aside.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 in a wok heat 1 tbsp oil on high heat, and marinated prawns and stir fry for 2 minutes until pink in color. Then remove from the wok and keep aside.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 to the same wok add 1 tsp oil, 3 cloves finely chopped garlic, 5 gm finely chopped ginger,2 finely chopped spring onions and stir fry for about 10 seconds.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 add sweet corn and stir fry for 1 minute.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 return the prawns to the wok, add salt to taste, 1 tsp sesame oil and stir fry for 1 minute.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 then add the prepared cornflour and water mixture and stir till it thickens.

step 8

  • STEP 8.8 turn off the heat and transfer to a serving dish.
